The two and a half miles to lunch were much, much easier with food in our bellies, and we resumed walking with new-found energy. We ate actual chicken sandwiches at Ta-Ta's Italian Breastaurant, and continued on. Our strategy in the morning had been to move at a reasonably fast speed to try to make it to each stop before the food was all gone. In the afternoon, we eased up on the pace a little bit, and didn't worry about how much time we spent at stops. It helped to get off our feet for a bit at Pit Stop 4, and Pit Stop 5 brought us to Graceland where Elvis welcomed us with open arms. We had an unofficial pit stop about a half-mile before we got to camp when some neighborhood kids stood out in front of their houses and gave us candy.
